Domain Names are a complex product, and key to routing internet traffic to your website, email and more. They are also critical for your brand, and the process of buying, selling, transferring, and establishing domain name ownership is regulated by ICANN and others.
Netistrar offers domain names at trade prices to business customers, organisations, not for profit and more. We also offer products to consumers (who are not providing services to others) and manage a consumer website called ENWAU.WALES.
We also provide products and services that complement our core offering of domain names:
We have a number of other products in the pipeline for release in 2019.
Establish in 2013, Netistrar was founded by four domain name industry experts and the software, security and research company Oxford Information Labs.
At that time, the domain name industry was undergoing a transformation from a small number of Top Level Domains on the market (such as .com) to the new gTLD environment - with more than 1,000 new domain endings to choose from.
At the heart of Netistrar, is a world-class software development team, who have built software and undertaken data-driven research for the domain name industry, including ICANN, EURid and Verisign, and for central and local government, the BBC, insurance, charity, not-for-profit, retail, and education sectors. We are proud to have developed Netistrar’s software and systems from the ground up, offering our customers unique benefits and impressive features.
With over 60 years industry experience between them, Netistrar's four founders are experts in the field of domain names. Here is an introduction to them and some of their great team.
